Carbon Neutral Websites are an emerging concept. In late 2006 I began to workshop an idea to make my own website "Carbon Neutral". If even a small proportion of the global websites could be influenced to making their sites Carbon Neutral the impact would be huge.   In early 2007 I developed  a basic design for the Carbon Neutral Website logo and added this to our website. In early April  I began working harder to develop a formula to calculate the variables that would occur  for other websites, these calculations are still going on.   I have  been contacted by a number of individuals wanting to use the Carbon Neutral Website logo these individuals have used a independent body to evaluate and make their sites Carbon Neutral. The original logo was a simple mock-up and was designed only because I was unable to locate one.   I began redesigning the logo which was almost complete when I again received a request to use the design from JackH at wikihow. This is site I often visit and recommend you take a look at if you are not familiar with it. Jack suggested that I release the logo into the public domain so others who believe in making the web Carbon Neutral could use it, great idea thank you Jack.
